Burnmarks are from her childhood when her voidtouched power manifested at an orphanage (she set her bed on fire while asleep).
Adopted by a traveling priest from Lux Sanctus.
Cured of her voidtouched curse by Saint Lucia.

Aboard SS Chosen
On-board the passenger ship SS Chosen when the party crashlands on it.
Has taken an interest in Ricky that’s bordering on obsession. She thinks she knows him, but can’t remember from where.
Sailor apprentice aboard SS Chosen, according to herself.
When Ricky asks her if she was bullied, she seems to be struck by a strong headache and retreats Is now certain that Ricky and her are from the same orphanage, but she can’t remember him being there.
When the party is arrested and kept captive on the cargo deck, she interrogates Ricky about the details of him remembering her being bullied. According to her, what Ricky remembers (that she was bullied outside the orphanage while having an eyepatch) is impossible, because she got the eyepatch when her voidtouched power awakened *within* the orphanage and she was never let out of the orphanage until the day she was adopted.
From Brookhaven Orphanage.
Seems to believe in Ricky to be a victim of the party’s manipulation, because nobody from Brookhaven Orphanage would ever willingly join with cultists.
In Caelumnis
After escorting the crew and Eve to the castle, she runs back to aid the party (or maybe just Ricky) in the fight against the fog beasts.
Recognizes Joachim when he arrives to aid the party against the fog beasts. She believed Joachim were in Sanctorum, the capital of Lux Sanctus.
Loses She’Medah some time after arriving at the castle. Is actively looking for him, because they have a report to write.
Wants to be buddy-buddy with the party after they were declared chosen ones by the saint.
May have romantic feelings for Ricky.
Recommends that Ricky play his cards right so that he can join her order and get his voidtouched curse lifted by the saint.
Has not visited Caelumnis before.
Hands an unidentified potion to Ricky before the party meets with the saint.
Helps defend the castle against a monster invasion and loses the lower half of her right arm in the process.
Her right arm begins to regrow and she asks Walter’s opinion on how long it would take for it to reform fully.
Looks for She’Medah outside in the castle garden during the rainy night after the monster attack.
Meets with Ricky in the garden. Ricky apologizes to her for not stopping Shtah. Zophiel is shocked and has a crisis of faith, unsure if there is a god and if that god is good, would they let something like this happen.
Admits that she’s obsessed about Ricky, because she can feel that the two of them are connected on some deep level. According to her, Ricky’s memory has been tampered with by someone who wants to use him for wicked ends.
She forces Ricky to promise to meet with the saint to try to recover his memory and discover what exactly connects them. When Ricky hesitates, Zophiel assures Ricky that one should never fear becoming complete.
Zophiel thinks that the saint is pure love and the closest thing to god she knows. She wants Ricky to join her order, so that they can fix the world together and ensure something like this never happens again.
After Ricky makes the promise, the two of them share a hug in the rain surrounded by corpses, but Zophiel is so overcome by emotion that she still thinks it’s the best moment of her life.
With Ricky’s assistance, she continues to look for She’Medah, who “keeps disappearing”. They don’t find him, which makes Zophiel think that he’s hiding on purpose. The two give up on the search and return to the keep, because Ricky needs to rest for tomorrow.
