The calamity that threatened the nation of Al-Azaliyya. Defeated by legendary hero Zahra.
Abilities
Visharah was a 6-meter tall monstrosity with 10 arms (a marilith monster), all of which wielded massive weapons. The calamity was unmatched in melee combat and easily parried all projectiles.
Her blood was a deadly poison that would kill an adult human within seconds.
She wielded the magic of life and unlife and her “life aura” constantly regenerated any wounds she might take.
She used her life magic to raise her victims as undead that turned on their former allies.
March across Al-Azaliyya
Visharah marched across half of Al-Azaliyya with her army of undead, destroying all the towns she came across (due to her fearsome reputation that preceded her, the towns were abandoned well before she arrived).
Despair set in the hearts of the people of Al-Azaliyya, as she seemed completely unstoppable. Moreover, all failed attempts at attacking her lead to her undead army growing in size, so running away was preferable to fighting and inevitably losing.
Defeat
Eventually word reached the town of Uyarmah that Visharah was about to reach them, but the local farmer girl Zahra came up with a clever plan that lead to Visharah's demise.
When Visharah and her undead horde reached Uyarmah, the town militia shot hundreds of arrows holding small satchels of seeds at Visharah and her army. The calamity parried the arrows with ease, but her life aura caused the seeds to sprout immediately around her.
Within moments, Visharah and her army were entangled in the plants and vines that were growing wildly out of control around them. Visharah tried desperately to cut off the vines and branches, but the townspeople kept firing arrows at her. Even with her 10 arms she was not able to keep up with the growth of the plants and she became trapped.
Once Visharah was restrained, the townspeople set the “forest of plants” on fire, burning Visharah alive, along with her undead horde.
However, as the flames destroyed her body, they also released the poison inside her. The unlucky ones that ran away too slow perished, including Zahra herself.
