Overseer of the tournament. The most senior spiritual leader of Eigo.
Onmyoji is both his name and his title. Like other onmyoji before him, after appointed to his position, he no longer uses his birth name and dedicates his life to serving Eigo.
Holds a speech at the tournament opening ceremony. He informs the contestants that the captain of the winning team will participate in the ritual of the eclipse, and that the ritual itself will be altered.
After the trial of unity, reveals that the last trial is the only one that mattered. Challenges Jaana and Koide Uchitada to unsheathe and wield Jinhou’s great katana to prove that they carry Jinhou’s blessing.
After Jaana wins the “contest”, he declares Jaana’s team the winner of the tournament and takes her away to the Walled Garden.
Conducts the eclipse ritual in the Walled Garden until it’s interrupted by the appearance of a magical illusion resembling Enma-Roshi.
Unable to dodge or defend himself, he is swallowed by a dark cloud summoned by the giant hand.
