The most widespread religion on Novrand. It is the main religion of every nation (note: Heretic Mountains is not recognized as a nation).
According to their religious doctrine, humanity was created by the creator god Ardia, who continously protects humanity from the evil goddess Versa, despite not manifesting themselves in the physical world.
In the Banishing War, Ardia, while taking the form of a blessed warrior alongside independently-acting legendary heroes defeated powerful lieutenants of Versa and banished and sealed Her on the Moon. Soon after this event, Ardia gave away His physical form to better maintain this seal.
Even if Versa cannot enter Novrand, She is still able to summon monsters and send them to Novrand through rifts in reality.
By continuously exterminating these monsters and keeping Ardia in their hearts, minds and prayers, humanity empowers their creator to keep them safe until the day Versa is destroyed once and for all.
Commandments
Despite Ardianist churches being founded independently around the world, they all seem to agree on the following commandments:
