Confesses that he made up the story about the curse to make the party rush towards the police ambush
Joins Kayoshi Harada in interrogating the party at the police station, and then interrogating Faylin separately
Meets with the party at the Emberglow Lodge Inn (entering and exiting through a window). Does some magical experimentation on Ricky and concludes that Ricky is not mind-controlled but is carrying a magically sealed message within him
